Kampus Merdeka is a platform for the Merdeka Belajar policy from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek). One of its programs is the Merdeka Student Exchange (PMM). Through PMM activities, students will gain learning experience at other universities in Indonesia for one semester, one of the goals is to improve students' ability to apply national insight and students' understanding of ethnic, religious, and racial diversity.

Fadillah Teressa is one of the students from the Sports Science Study Program, Department of Recreational Health, Class of 2021 who participated in the PMM activity and graduated at Nusa Cendana University, East Nusa Tenggara. Nusa Cendana University itself accepts 284 students from all over Indonesia with various universities from Sabang to Merauke. Some of them are Syiah Kuala University from Aceh, Surabaya State University, Sam Ratulangi University from Manado, Mataram State University from West Nusa Tenggara and many more. There are so many experiences and lessons that I have gained during one semester of attending lectures outside the campus, one of which is being able to experience studying outside the original study program. Fadillah Teresa advised her younger siblings, "Never be afraid to get out of your comfort zone, seek as much experience as possible, explore as far as possible and expand your relationships as widely as possible. Because experience is the best teacher and investment."
