Lecturers at the Department of Health and Recreation, FIK UNP and their team carried out community service activities on 11-14 August 2023 in Sipora District, Mentawai Islands Regency. Community Service in the Mentawai Islands Regency is the 5th and 2nd year activity in Sipora District.

The Integrated PKM activity was officially opened by the Mentawai Islands Regent, Mr. Fernando Jongguran Simanjuntak, S.St, M.Pi and attended by the Regional Secretary, Assistant I, Assistant II, Assistant III, Head of Youth and Sports Affairs, Head of Bappeda and Head of Tua Pejat Village.

Based on the report submitted by the UNP 2023 Integrated PKM Coordinator which was held in the Mentawai Islands Regency, Prof. Dr. Anton Komaini, S.Si., M.Pd, this activity focuses on developing tourism potential in collaboration with the Mentawai Islands district government and involving productive age participants from high schools and youth totaling 100 participants.

One of the activities carried out is outbound guide training and making fun games. "This training provides knowledge, skills and attitudes to become a facilitator in outdoor activity-based training programs (outbound/experiential learning) or recreational activities, such as outings, gatherings, competitions, natural tourism, and so on." Said Dr. Nuridin Widya Pranoto, S.Pd., M.Or chairman of PKM.
